Welcome to the Tradewinds Pages where the world of commerce can find a place to tie up and reside on this Cyberspace web wharf hub. Just like Yankee traders in the old days, we seek out ways to support this www.eraoftheclipperships.com venture and the tradewinds of commerce seems like a good one. Over the Holiday Season we went through all the printed material that we have gathered over the past year and surfed around the world in search of businesses that we thought would be likely clients to these pages. As a gesture of the Holiday Spirit we threw some of their links along with pictures up on our Web site as a way of presenting our pages in much the ideal way that we would like things to go. Show and tell. This is also the only way to show everybody just what we are trying to do and that is a sharing of our unique vision as to what we hope to be all about from now on. Whatever works! We are certainly more than willing to do a good turn for others before we ever ask anything of them in return. The bare bones of three of these pages are now up and they are our way of doing our part with trying to jumpstart the economy again in lieu of 9/11 and the adventure tourism industry at this point in time could sure use all the help it can get. We hear you. Here we are. Much of our economy depends on the places we go, the things we do, the objects we buy, where we stay and the restaurants we dine at. Adventure tourism is a huge industry in the maritime world. This is the quality time that so many people actively seek out and from now on from these Tradewinds Pages are just a mouse click away. Our pages evolve and seem to take on a life and style of their own as far as visual presentation is concerned. What we are doing is mixing it up as we layout the pages in a free form cell table format with our Dreamweaver 4 - Fireworks 4 software. What you see is what you get and we do hope that you are delighted with what you see as we expand upon our visual Tradewinds presentations. For that certainly is our intention as we strive for excellence in this department. These pages look cool. Just turn us loose with the idea for your ad and let us run with it. For we really do have your best business interests at heart. Within 24 hours your ad can go up on these pages. There are no layout charges. Take a look at your ad on the Tradewinds Page and if you like what you see send us a check. If you change your mind let us know and we'll take it down and you'll owe us nothing. More than likely you'll decide to leave the ad up. In which case the remainder of the month is rent free! We start billing you for the following month. / Our ads go for as little as $12 a month, $25 per quarter (three months), or $75 dollars a year! This is for a 3" x 4" size (12 square inches) one-image ad along with a few sentences of information and link. Prices go up from there according to size. The scale of which can be figured out by the square inch scale as follows. Yearly rate - $6.25 an inch per year. Quarterly rate - $2.09 an inch per quarter. Monthly rate - $1.00 an inch per month.
